Hackers Apple Attack: Apple Has Been Hit by Hackers

The group, AntiSec, suspected to be made up of members from the recently-disbanded LulzSec - a hacking group that made headlines for breaking into websites belonging to the CIA, the FBI and the U.S. Senate, posted a message to Twitter on Sunday claiming to have gained access to private data from an Apple Inc server. The document, posted to the web, contained several usernames and passwords.

"#Apple could be target, too. But don't worry, we are busy elsewhere," they said.

AntiSec also uploaded a document that members say contains more than 25 administrator user names and passwords to an Apple server.

Security experts say the targeted server was just used for tech support surveys and the breach did not affect sensitive information.

Apple officials are still trying to determine the extent of the attack.
