Hurricane Eugene Weather Bulletin


Hurricane Eugene, the fifth hurricane of the Eastern Pacific, now centers in Miami and produces a maximum sustained winds of 75 mph (120 kilometers) with higher gustiness. Eugene is moving west-northwest at 13 miles (20 kilometers) per hour with the center about 405 miles (650 kilometers) south of Zihuatanejo, Mexico, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC).

Hurricane Eugene is expected to strengthen as it tracks in roughly the same direction for the next couple of days.

Eugene is now a Category 1 hurricane but no signs to put damages on land.
