A magnitude-5.5 earthquake has hit most areas in the Philippines last night, May 21, at 9:08 p.m - coincides with the end of the world prediction by cult leader Harold Camping.
In a report by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), the earthquake were experienced in the following areas: intensity 5 in Ilagan, Isabela, intensity 4 in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan; Penablanca, Cagayan; Quirino, Isabela; Tumawini, Isabela; Baler, Aurora and intensity 2 in Baguio City; Tabuk, Kalinga.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS), however, measured the earthquake at magnitude-5.3 with a depth of 45.1 kilometers and a distance of 21 km northwest of Ilagan, Isabela, 153 km away from Baguio City and 305 km from Manila.
