Hasselblad CEO Christian Poulsen with Supermodel

The Hasselblad H2D39 is the worlds first 39 MPIX digital Camera.
"ALL I CAN THINK OF IS WOW"
I stared out with a half a pixel digital camera back in the early 1990's oh and no view finder.
All said and done this little jewel will set you back about $1,000 a mega pixel. or for non mathamatical minds around$39,000 bucks.
Hasselblad company is working on a 45 MP camera. But the focus is more on color debth rather than more pixels. You see, One of the problems digital camera makers are facing is the demand for higher DPI camera each year. The downside is as pixel size increases color debth is lost.

"The rule of thumb is simple the more pixels the greater loss of color."

Professional Digital cameras are costly and competition is Rough. Mamiya, a Japanease camera exited the market. Recently they introduced a 22 MP "Mamiya ZD" camera at a cost of $12,000.00

Hasselblad is know for making the best professional cameras. On the high end side Hasselblad is the best!
