After Rudy [Fernandez] demise, rumors started to spread within the showbiz circle that Lorna Tolentino will be transferring back to ABS-CBN.On Thursday, Lorna together with her manager Lolit Solis, formally bids goodbye to GMA-7 big bosses as she finally accepted ABS-CBN's long-time offer.
Lorna is set to do a soap opera opposite Gabby Concepcion in the Kapamilya network.
"Ayaw ni LT na basta na lang siya gagawa sa kabila na hindi nagpapaalam," said Lolit. "Kaya nandito siya para siya mismo ang personal na magpasalamat at magpaalam. Ayaw naming mag-burn ng bridges, di ba?"
According to Lolit, GMA-7 offered Lorna a role in the TV remake of Saan Darating Ang Umaga with Yasmien Kurdi as the lead star. Lorna is supposed to play the role of Nida and Yasmien as Maricel Soriano. But Lorna declined the offer saying she already said "yes" to ABS-CBN prior to GMA-7's offer.
