Every month the Ann T. Hathaway blog remembers officers who have died in the line of duty. This month, twelve officers have departed from the roll calls of their agencies. Each man and woman listed here matter more than a number. They leave behind family, friends and colleagues. All of those left behind continue to sacrifice, through their grief and in their work, for their communities. Let these fine officers be recalled today, at least for one quiet moment.
