White Rose Movement - Bones
White Rose Movement's debut record Kick was released in 2006 and, though I haven't listened to it in awhile, I was really into it and anxiously anticipated the band's next move. Recently, they've put up a demo of a new song called Bones for download on their myspace and, while it's not nearly as good as classics like Girls In The Back and Love Is A Number, it's definitely interesting. The band has a way of making things sound very strange and somewhat apocolyptic yet also approachable and poppy. Bones is one of the band's more experimental sounding tracks, with some wild falsetto that reminds me a bit of Muse's Supermassive Black Hole, but it's also got a great beat. I expect it to pull together even more once the final version is completed. One minor gripe: I totally can't make out the lyrics, so no lyrics below the picture today!White Rose Movement - Bones (demo) (zshare)
